Varsity Head Coach - Angel Delgadillo

Angel Delgadillo was born and raised in Sacramento, and has resided in Roseville since 1994. Angel graduated from Norte Del Rio High School (class of 71) where he played Varsity sports. He earned a BA degree in Criminal Justice from the Union Institute. After 30 years of service as a Sacramento City Police Officer, 22 years as a detective, and 2 years as an investigator for the Yolo County District Attorney's Officer, he retired in 2005.

Angel is married to Nina, and has 3 children and 5 grandchildren.   Angel's coaching experience includes numerous years in the youth Police Athletic League, the boys and girls Parochial Athletic Leagues (5th thru 8th) and both Sacramento and Roseville City Parks and Rec youth leagues.  Angel's high school coaching experience includes 3 years as a JV assistant at Saint Francis High School and more recent, 3 years as the Oakmont girl's freshman and JV coach. While at Oakmont, Angel coached along side his daughter Chris Schuler and freshman coach Mike Cepeda. Angel has coached the Lady Grizzlies Junior Varsity team the past two years.

Varsity Assistant Coach - Ron Woodhouse

Ron Woodhouse and his wife Linda have lived in Granite Bay for 36 years. His daughter Katie and son in law Dan also live in Granite Bay.  Four of his seven grandkids go to school in the Eureka School District.  He taught biology and history at Mesa Verde HS where he coached baseball, boys’ basketball and spent 14 seasons as the girls’ basketball varsity coach, with 10 seasons of 20 or more wins. He has over 300 wins at the varsity level in girls’ basketball.   He has won league championships  at Mesa HS, as well as Coach of the Year honors in the PVL and GEL. He has coached the North Optomist All Star team twice. After retiring from teaching at Mesa HS, he coached the Granite Bay Girls’ Varsity team as an assistant in 2005-06 and as Head Coach for three seasons, going to the play-offs twice and the Sac-Joaquin Section semi-finals in 2007-08.  He is also  "Director of Player Development" as well as an Assistant Coach with the Eureka School District where he is helping Cavitt and Olympus 7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball teams. Ron and his wife have horses and compete in Ranch Sorting. They like to fish, camp and go to the grandkids’ swim meets, basketball games, etc.
